Bruce Bauman

Bruce Bauman is the Chief Data Officer for the National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS). In this capacity, he is responsible for establishing data governance and data standards that maximize the use and sharing of NSA's data and information while simultaneously protecting and handling it in accordance with all legal obligations. He is a recognized leader and technical expert across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and with foreign partners in data management to include data security, quality, and interoperability. Mr. Bauman established multiple data standards and supporting data management practices, which form the cornerstone of the highly successful big data analytics platform provided by the NSA for the Intelligence Community. He is the recipient of the National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation and Senior Special Achievement Award.
