Google

Connie LaRossa has worked a variety of different national security roles for more than two decades. She led legislative engagement for the Departments of Homeland  Security (DHS) and Defense (DoD), and the Intelligence Community, as well as for private sector clients. She currently serves as the Senior Policy Manager on the  Google Government Affairs & Public Policy team where she is responsible for national security policy. In her current capacity, she works across the Google enterprise to ensure that there is a robust relationship between Google and the U.S. Government's national security agencies.

Prior to joining Google she was a principal at Cornerstone Government Affairs and at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), where she represented national security clients to Capitol Hill and the executive branch. Before joining the private sector, Connie spent over a decade working in various roles within DHS and DoD, including Deputy Assistant Secretary for House Affairs at DHS, Legislative  Director at DHS, and Legislative and Public Affairs Officer at DoD. Her time at DHS and DoD afforded her the experience of navigating the legislative branch authorization and appropriations processes, as well as executive branch interagency policymaking at the highest levels of government. Connie managed rapid response teams and messaging during national security emergencies and continues to maintain strong relationships with committee members and staffers across the aisle on Capitol Hill.

Connie earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Master in  Policy Management for Georgetown University. She is an active member on the Board of Directors for St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth & Families.
