David Ray is Executive Vice President, Space and Intelligence Business Group at SAIC, a premier Fortune 500® technology integrator driving our nation’s technology transformation, with annual revenues of $6.9 billion and approximately 24,000 employees.

SAIC provides engineering, digital, artificial-intelligence and mission solutions across the defense, space, civilian and

intelligence markets. Ray is responsible for leading the strategy, business development, and solutions and services
execution and delivery of the Space and Intelligence Business Group. The group brings a wide range of solutions and

services to customers spanning intelligence, defense and federal civilian agencies.

Ray joined SAIC in 2021 with a wealth of experience in managing and growing large technology businesses that serve

government customers around the world.

Prior to his current position at SAIC, Ray served as president of the $900 million government and defense business of

thermal imaging systems maker FLIR Systems Inc., leading strategy, research and development, operations, business

development, and marketing.

Ray held several leadership roles in general management and business development at Raytheon Co. from 2002 to

2017. He last served as vice president of global business development and strategy for the company's $6 billion
intelligence, information, and services segment that supported intelligence, Department of Defense, federal

civilian agencies and international customers.

Ray also served in many leadership positions of increasing authority for Raytheon Missile Systems and Raytheon Space

& Airborne Systems during his 16-year tenure with the company. Prior to this, he began his career as a senior

management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. 

Ray received a Bachelor of Science in business management from the U.S. Air Force Academy and served five years in

the Air Force at Joint Base Andrews and the Pentagon, where he led teams responsible for communications-related

projects designed to support senior members of the government and military.

Ray earned his Master of Science in systems management and strategy from Central Michigan University.
