Dr. Kyle Rector

Dr. Rector is currently the Deputy Director of the Office of AI within CIA’s Directorate of Digital Innovation.  He began his intelligence career in 2000 and has served in a variety of roles throughout the CIA and the IC, including with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Geospatial Agency. Prior to joining the IC, he held positions associated with imagery, geospatial analysis, research, cartography, and teaching at the National Geographic Society and the University of Tennessee. Dr. Rector holds Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University.  He currently resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife Susan and daughter Riette.
