Mr. Larry Taxson is a Senior Intelligence Service Expert with more than 27 years’ experience managing all aspects of information technology, including business needs assessment, software development and implementation within both the private and public sectors. Larry is recognized for delivering mission impact against hard technical problems and his unique ability to strategically align business and digital domains.
Larry currently serves as the Chief of CLOUDworks where he leads a group delivering commercial cloud and government hosting solutions in support of mission needs.
Larry recently served as the Directorate of Digital Innovation’s (DDI) Chief of Staff where he managed the day-to-day operations of the DDI front office, provided executive support to the Deputy Director of CIA for Digital Innovation and the Associate Deputy Directors, and managed enterprise planning and brought corporate oversight to numerous directorate-wide programs.
Larry previously served as the Chief of Digital Innovation for Near East Mission Center where he promoted and led the integration of digital capabilities in support of operational needs, Prior to that role, he served as the Senior Program Executive for Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) where he provided leadership to the Intelligence Community towards the adoption of modern cloud computing services. Larry served in several key leadership roles across DDI, including in the Information Technology Enterprise and the Open Source Enterprise.
Larry earned a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland.
