Mike Ness

Mike Ness is a dynamic leader with over two decades of experience driving growth and delivering results for U.S. Government clients, particularly within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD). As the Growth Leader at River Hawk Consulting, he leverages his expertise to spearhead strategic initiatives, build high-performing teams, and expand the firm’s presence in data, technology, and management consulting. Prior to joining River Hawk Consulting, he spent 13 years at PwC/Guidehouse (progressing from manager to partner) focused on financial management, process improvement, and change management consulting. Prior to PwC, he spent six years at KPMG focused on financial management support, as well as time at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and American Management Systems (AMS) supporting IT transformation projects. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, with concentrations in Finance and Information Systems, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB). He has been an active member of INSA for over ten years.
